From a free-entry night at a small club to a five-day festival with international guests, Heshk Beshk is Habibi Shik Shok's flagship project — the clearest expression of what this platform exists to do: turn SWANA culture into a night people remember.
The Story So Far
Heshk Beshk started small. In November 2025, it was a free-entry night at PLEX in Athens — live percussion, a handful of DJs, and a simple idea: that Arabic electronic music deserved a real room in this city, not just a playlist.
By March 2026 it had grown into something much bigger — a five-day festival at the Bankeion Hotel that pulled in Heshk Beshk's biggest crowd yet, 1,000 fans across the festival, with three days of belly dance and Sha'bi workshops building into one unforgettable Arabic electro night.
By June 2026, Heshk Beshk VOL.3 brought 476 guests back to the Bankeion Hotel for a full day-into-night gathering of music, food, dance, and bazaar, with 3Phaz headlining from Cairo.
Three editions in, the throughline hasn't changed: SWANA culture, lived rather than archived, on a dancefloor built for everyone who shows up.

VOL.1 — Where It Began
No ticket price, no pretense — just a small Athens room, live percussion from Akram Hajj, and DJ sets from Urok, Yosch, and Houschyar carrying the night from first track to last.
It was Habibi Shik Shok's first real test of an idea: that Arabic electronic music and community could share one room in Athens and make something worth returning for. Judging by everything that came after, the answer was yes.

VOL.2 — 1,000 Fans, Five Days
By March, Heshk Beshk had outgrown a single night. It became a five-day gathering: three days of intensive belly dance and Sha'bi workshops building into one Arabic electro night — and Heshk Beshk's biggest crowd yet, 1,000 fans across the festival.
Yunis flew in from Alexandria and Sherryaeri from Berlin for their Greek debut, sharing the bill with Athens' own Urok, Kvadosh, and No-Mad. VOL.3 — Cairo Comes to Athens
The third edition brought Heshk Beshk back to the Bankeion Hotel for a full day-into-night gathering of Arabic music, food, dance, and community. 3Phaz brought his Cairo-rooted, bass-heavy shaabi sound; Yunis returned from Alexandria for a second time; Urok closed out her third appearance on a Heshk Beshk stage.
Alongside the music, a curated bazaar and food stalls turned the Bankeion Hotel into a full-day destination. 476 guests came through the door for a day built on one simple instruction: come early, stay late.
